The current plot here is that a long time ago, there existed a time called the Silver Millennium. In this time, Endymion, Prince of Earth, fell in love with Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. However Beryl, who so loved Endymion, wouldn't have it. She came in contact with Queen Metallia, gained great power, and led an attack on the Moon Kingdom. The death and destruction was great, and ultimately Princess Serenity used the power of the Ginzuishō, or Silver Crystal, to destroy everything there. Her mother, Queen Serenity, then flung everyone into the past.

Millenia passed, times changed, and eventually the senshi and others were reborn blissfully unaware of their past lives. But alas, peace is never meant to last.

Metallia has been reawakened and is determined to come to power, currently using Beryl to gather energy. Only the Sailor Senshi can ultimately stop her darkness. And somewhere, darker eyes than Metallia's or Beryl's have already begun to turn to Earth, an evil who is just watching and waiting.
